My professional work is in global equities, with particular interests in healthcare, science, sustainability, corporate governance and how companies create long-term value.

I have long-form conversations with people I find interesting across science, technology, economics, philosophy, culture, investing, theatre and life.

The aim is curiosity rather than interrogation: how people think, what they have learned, and the ideas sitting just beyond their published work.

Theatre & creative work

Alongside investing, I have written plays for theatres and BBC Radio and worked with theatre companies over many years.

My plays include Nakamitsu, Yellow Gentlemen, Lemon Love and Lost in Peru, alongside radio work including Places in Between.

Mirror Man is a performance-lecture about faces, inheritance, race, ageing, memory and what happens when you look at yourself for long enough.
