Investor Biography

Ben Yeoh, CFA is a Senior Portfolio Manager, Global Healthcare, on the Global Equity team at RBC Global Asset Management.

Ben has worked in investment since 2001 and specialises in global healthcare, with wider interests in science and innovation, sustainability, corporate governance, stewardship and the long-term drivers of company value. He joined RBC Global Asset Management in 2014. Before moving into asset management, his work included global healthcare equity research.

Alongside his investment role, Ben serves in a non-executive advisory capacity on responsible investment for a leading UK investment trust. He has also contributed to wider debates around sustainability, accounting, stewardship and long-term investing.

Earlier in his career, Ben received a #1 Thomson Extel rating for integrated SRI research and a StarMine award for healthcare stock picking.

Ben studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge University and later studied at Harvard University as a Herchel Smith scholar. He is a CFA charterholder.

His writing and conversations range beyond investing into healthcare science, technology, institutions and the ways businesses create and sustain value over time.
